Our Vision
is the great and proud perception of the current state and future development of the Azerbaijani community as an active part of the rapidly evolving mainstream Australian society with a strong and positive insight into its rich Azerbaijani cultural background. This image is derived from the evidence based knowledge of our cultural heritage which is strongly affiliated with the positive Azerbaijani cultural self-identity which people from Azerbaijani background have rights to be aware of, proud to learn and acknowledge, embrace in their life and pass onto their next generations to come.
Our Mission
is to ensure that the heritage of Azerbaijani Culture is always available and easy accessible to all Azerbaijani community in accordance with the following fundamental principles of:
- Azerbaijani people from diverse religious, linguistic and cultural background shoud have easy access to the available ACAA services and information.
- ACAA programs, policies, services and activities are aimed to respond in an appropriate way to the real needs of the people from the Azerbaijani community.
- People from culturally diverse Azerbaijani community should have an opportunity to engage and contribute to decisions about different cultural events the ACAA is planning and delivering.
- All ACAA community activities are determined by the evidence based community needs and support the best managerial practice in their provision.
- Enabling priorities should relate to the ACAA capacity to effectively identify and meet specific needs of different social groups (youth, aging members, etc.) of the Azerbaijani community and guide our decisions on the directions and actions which eventuate the best possible development and delivery of community activities.
